When do Basenjis stop growing?

Basenjis stop growing around 12 to 18 months of age, but they might continue to fill out and develop muscle mass until they are about two to three years old. Like most dog breeds, Basenjis experience their most rapid growth during the first six months to one year of life. After this initial growth spurt, a Basenji’s growth rate will start to slow down, and they will gradually reach their fully grown adult size and weight.
