What does a Cane Corso look like?

A Cane Corso has a powerful and imposing build, with a broad head, strong jaw, and deep chest. They have a short coat that comes in various colors, including black, fawn, brindle, and gray.

While Cane Corsos' ears have historically been cropped to stand erect, ear cropping  is a controversial practice and has been banned or restricted in many countries due to animal welfare concerns. There is no medical reason to crop a dog’s ears, and vets do not recommend it.
