Are Goberians healthy?
Goberians are considered pretty healthy. But Goberians can be prone to some of the same health issues, such as cancer, that affect their parent breeds. Your veterinarian can help you identify other common health problems that your Goberian may be prone to, including bloat , epilepsy , elbow or hip dysplasia, and cataracts .
- Cancer: A study conducted by the Golden Retriever Club of America found cancer as the cause of death of 61.4 percent of Golden Retrievers. These pups are at a higher risk for some types of cancer because of a recent genetic mutation in North American Goldens.
