We started out as shelter volunteers. The demand for rescue was so great we finally began Pet P.E.A.V.E.S. (Providing Every Animal Value, Empathy & Safety) and have spread our efforts to more than just one shelter.
We include our families and friends and Pet P.E.A.V.E.S. has sprouted from love and a passion for helping.
Finding forever homes is just a portion of our efforts but it's a very important part as they find homes we are able to help more.

We are located in California with representatives in the Bay Area, and Kern county. Anywhere in California can be worked with however for the right home we will try to accommodate other states as well.
Additional adoption info
We require an adoption application to be filled out completely prior to meet and greets.
We require a home check.
Our adoption fee is $200.00 - $350.00 (larger dogs are higher due to the cost of vetting, we pay significantly more) payable by check, PayPal, or as a donation toward our vet or boarding.
If you are adopting a puppy under the age of 4 months we require them to have their first 2 vaccines and the adoption is not finalized until they are spayed/neutered.
We will NOT set up a meet and greet until our puppies have their 2nd vaccines and an application has been received.
Once you've done a meet and greet and had a home check we will send you an adoption contract. Once completed we will bring the pet to your home for a final check, snap a happy adoption photo and you start your new life with a brand new family member.
