Tiny Toes Kitten Rescue began in 2016 as a small family paying entirely out of their own pockets to rescue and adopt out homeless felines from a feral cat colony on family property. After realizing that there was not enough space in the rescues already in existence to take in all of the homeless felines in the area, they decided to begin the journey of starting a rescue of their own.
Tiny Toes Kitten Rescue was founded in 2018 by that same small family who found a passion in caring for orphaned kittens. As of February 2018, Tiny Toes Kitten Rescue is now a 501c3, non-profit organization. It is entirely volunteer and foster-based, so all felines are housed in members' homes throughout the Southern Maryland area.

Additional adoption info
Tiny Toes Kitten Rescue strives to place our felines in the best possible homes for each. This means our adoptions are not on a first come, first serve basis.
Step one of the process is completing our adoption application. This can be completed electronically or in person. Once submitted, our team will work to process the application and contact you. This can take a few weeks depending on the application.
Step two is the interview. One of our team members will contact you to discuss your application in detail and get a feel for your family, lifestyle, and desires for a new furry friend.
Step three is meeting the feline(s) you are interested in. This step is important and required for an adoption to be finalized. We strive to make the perfect match with felines and adopters, so you must meet the feline before you can bring it home. This can be at a public event or through a private meet and greet.
The fourth step is finalizing the adoption. This will be the last step in the process where you pay your adoption fee, sign an adoption contract, and take your feline home!
Our standard fees for adoption are as follows: single kitten $140, kitten pair $270, single adult $100
