Wakulla Animal Services serves as both the animal shelter and the adoption center for the county. We handle stray animals, lost and found, bite quarantines and animal control calls for service.

An approved adoption questionnaire is required. Home visits and previous vet records are necessary. Dog adoption fees are $150.00 which includes spay/neuter, microchipping, heartworm test, rabies vaccine, bordatella and parvo/distemper vaccines. Cat adoption fees are $100, which includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, microchip, test and vaccine for feline aids/leukemia. An additional $50.00 refundable deposit is collected at time of adoption if pet is too young to be altered.
