We are a foster based dog rescue that serves the Iowa/Illinois Quad Cities area. The purpose of Ruff Life Dog Rescue of Illowa
is to reduce the number of dogs living on the streets or in shelters by placing them in loving foster homes and providing quality veterinary care until they are permanently adopted.

Additional adoption info
All of our dogs are in private foster homes, so an application for adoption must be completed before a meet and greet with the dog can be scheduled. We do not have a physical shelter that can be visited. All applications will be reviewed by the adoptions committee. If more than one application for a dog is received, the dog will be matched with the best possible home. We adopt to indoor homes only. Adoption fees are $250 for spayed or neutered puppies and adult dogs, $125 for senior dogs, and $350 for puppies to young to be altered, with $100 refunded to the adopter upon proof of spay or neuter.
