#Bodam really appreciate your warm encouragements, support and interests in rescuing dogs from harsh environments in Korea. We’ve been found over 100 families for these dogs thanks to persons like you.
As you may already know, Bodam consists of volunteers who adopted our little ones from Bodam. The volunteer network has been continually changed and restructured. Hence, we need some time to consolidate our organization for better service and support for shelter dogs, dog meat farm dogs, and dogs from puppy mills.
We will plan to restart rescuing dogs as soon as the volunteer network and the organization are restructured appropriately and more effectively to better serve our needs. Thank you for your continuous support in advance and we hope to see you again soon. Please do not forget that we all want to and will save more lives together.
*About Bodam*
We rescue dogs in need from Korea. Dogs with backgrounds of homelessness, cruelty and neglect are rescued from off the streets or animal control centers where they face certain euthanasia.
Sometimes, our dogs are from the local meat trade, and they literally had only a few moments to spare if they were not rescued by us.
So we provide voluntary quarantine at local foster homes in Korea where they are rehabilitated emotionally and physically. Dogs are given TLC along with all the veterinary care they need to recover and thrive, including spay/neuter and vaccination. We then bring them back to US where they are adopted out into permanent homes via various resources.
Create an alert and get notified with newly adoptable pets that meet your criteria.
