Pit Bulls and Jams is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer based organization dedicated to ending stereotypes of "Pit Bulls" and Pit Bull type dogs through education, advocacy and positive ownership of the bully breeds.
Pit Bulls and Jams main goal is to rally the local music scene together for an AMAZING cause. We coordinate and host music shows/events with local artists and musicians in order raise money for 501(c)(3) Rescues involved with Pit bull or bully breed rescue and rehabilitation. During our events, we speak and provide information about the bully breeds, stereotypes, misconceptions and the truth about these amazing yet misunderstood dogs.
We also do some small scale rescuing of our own; typically one dog at a time and foster them in our home. We will help any animal who is in need or in imminent danger regardless of if they are a dog or not. Our main focus and mission is to raise money for existing rescues and spreading positive Pit Bull awareness.
