Rescue FAQs

At Wagging tail Rescue, we are focused on providing wonderful homes for dogs that have been rescued from environments that were unsafe for them. Many of our dogs come from southern states; which have a higher population of dogs and more kill shelters. With our services, we save these animals from a terrible fate and deliver them to a brighter future! We are a foster based rescue located in Ozaukee county.

Additional adoption info

The first step in the adoption process will be to fill out an application. You can do this by emailing us at wtrin2015@gmail.com. After you have filled the application out, please email it to wtrinc2015@gmail.com and you will be contacted shortly after. If everything checks out, a home visit will be done as well as a meet and greet. If the chemistry is right, you will be able to take your furreverfriend home!

Fees: We take cash and checks. Adoption fee will depend on how much the dogs vet fees and transportation costs.

Returns:
As with all of our adoptions, we know it is hard to get married on a blind date... even to a wonderful pup. We will take the dog back and give a full refund in the first week. After 7 days, we will take the dog back and you can consider your adoption fee a tax deductible donation to a very appreciative organization. To hold a dog longer than the earliest possible delivery date, we ask for a $50 non-refundable deposit.
