Additional adoption info
This is an "additional" location established to find homes for ferrets located in Rhode Island via our Ferret Find-a-Home program.
Find-a-Home is an assisted adoption service that helps responsible owners find great new homes for their pets directly.
The Ferret Association prescreens potential homes and provides their information to the owner. The owner and adopter have one introductory meeting, references are checked, if needed, the ferret receives vaccinations and a vet exam, and if all goes well, they meet again to finalize the adoption.
We support adopters with free information and up to 1-hour of consultation to ensure the ferret transitions smoothly into their home.
