Rescue FAQs

For your convenience, we are available seven days a week to visit our foster pets once they arrive in New York/New Jersey. Please call the listed numbers for directions to come and spend some time with the wonderful animals in our care. All of the pets in our foster care are not listed, so, if you are looking for a specific pet, please call to ask what will be available after vet care and quarantine.

All of our pets are in foster homes and not in shelters. There is plenty of space to play with our pets in need of homes so that you can choose the pet that is best for you. We look forward to spending an afternoon with you.

Additional adoption info

Our procedure is fairly simple, but thorough, in an effort to complete the perfect adoptions. Here in our Alabama HQ, we will review your application, call your references and your vet, and if all is well a home visit will be set up. If your home meets the needs of the specific dog, then you are approved for adoption. At this time, a meet and greet can be set up once the dog is in foster care. At the time of your meet and greet, if you fall in love (and vice versa), your pet will go home to live with you!!

Adoption Fee for our pets: Varies per dog from approximately $375-$500.
Our pets are adoptable to homes within a 30 minute driving distance of Nanuet, NY unless we have a representative in your area to do a home visit.
