THE NOOK REFUGE mission aims to:
*Provide Refuge to animals in need on a "case by case" limited admission basis
* Provide pawsitive alternatives to shelter surrenders, with a primary focus on spay&neuter initiatives, for animals within the local communities
*Provide primary focus of rescuing less likely to be adopted or special needs animals, including those animals in need of emergency medical assistance
*Identify and assist with the training and placement of rescued animals as potential Therapy, Emotional Support and Service Animals
*Provide an exceptional, professional, out of the box experience with placement of successful, quality adoptions - especially those long distance
*Provide lifelong, impacting connections and education through our adoption, volunteer, advocacy, community outreach and partnership programs
