Santana's Hope 4 Paws mission is to improve the lives of animals in our community, county, state, and beyond through advocacy, education, and support.
Santana’s Hope for Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals. We are licensed with the Missouri Department of Agriculture. SH4P is dedicated to helping with adopting, locating and fostering of helpless animals, and other services to include but not limited to providing rescue services, neutering, spaying, veterinary care and placement services for homeless, sick, and abused animals throughout the United States.
We offer assistance to the citizens, dogs, and cats to help ensure the animal’s safety, happiness, and health. We promote responsible pet guardianship and the humane treatment of animals through community awareness and work toward ending animal overpopulation through education and a variety of programs. We take pride in the work we do - working to keep dogs and cats safe, happy and sheltered. We have several programs set up to help us fulfill our mission. Friends of Steelville Pound is one of our programs.
Friends of Steelville Pound is one of our programs where our volunteers work with the city of Steelville, Missouri to find loving homes for the dogs that enter the city pound. We do not handle the actual adoptions of pets that are in the city pound but only help facilitate the adoptions by advertising and referring approved families to the city of Steelville, MO. However, Santana's Hope 4 Paws facilitates all adoptions of pets in our own rescue and foster program.
Friends of Steelville Pound Mission
Our mission is to recruit and train volunteers who will save lives by increasing pet adoptions at the Steelville City Pound, improve the quality of life for the animals in the pound, promote spay and neuter, help advocate for animal welfare at the state, county and city levels of government to make a lasting impact for Missouri animals, and to facilitate outreach and educational activities about the humane treatment of companion animals throughout the city of Steelville, MO.
Friends of Steelville Pound Vision:
Our vision is for all adoptable animals at the Steelville City Pound to find a forever loving home. We also envision a community where every pet has a permanent and loving home, every companion animal is spayed or neutered, and all pets are treated with respect and compassion.
