Our goal is to raise education and awareness of the need for forever homes for these animals, some of whom have lifespans of more than seventy years.

Wings of Love Parrot Rescue Center of the Bluegrass is based in Lexington, Kentucky. We serve the entire state of Kentucky, as well as surrounding states, thanks to our wonderful foster and transport volunteers!

  • 4. Sign Adoption Contract

  • 6. Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete an adoption application and agree to a pre-adoption home visit. Approved adopters will be required to sign an adoption contract and agree to a second, post-adoption home visit so we can determine that the bird is doing well and is a proper fit for the home.
