We are an all-foster volunteer rescue organization of bull terrier lovers dedicated to rescuing bull terriers in crisis and finding them permanent homes. Bull Terrier Rescue of the Sunshine State is a new rescue, but we are old hands at rescuing bull terriers. Our volunteers have all played key roles at other bull terrier rescues and decided now was the time to begin our own.
Our goal is simple - save as many bull terriers as we can. Many of you know us already. We look forward to meeting those who don't. We don't relish the spotlight. It's the dogs that deserve to be front and center. Bull Terrier Rescue of the Sunshine State will put the bullies first.
We don't care how hard it is or how hopeless it may seem. We will not shy away from rescuing older bullies. We will not turn our backs on sick or injured bullies. It's the right thing to do.
Our success will ultimately depend on you. We will need fosters. We will need home checks and help with transport. We will need to fundraise to pay for dog food and vet bills. Lastly, we will need adopters. We can do this together. We need to do this together. These dogs deserve better. People have failed them. We will not.
We are now officially a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization as of 8/27/2015.

Additional adoption info
We require an adoption form to be filled out, a home check to be done, and there is a nominal fee per dog to cover vetting, food, etc. All of our dog reside in foster homes and we decide when they are in optimal shape to be adoptable. Our dogs are not in kennels or boarding facilities. Each dog's adopt fee is decided per animal and per circumstance.
