We are a small veterinary practice located in a small town in a rural county in North Carolina. We have animals that are brought in as strays, owner surrendered, and brought to us by animal control when they have been picked up and are injured. We feel that every animals' life is worth saving and to the extent that we have room we accept these animals into our adoption program. Our staff work as a team and we are like family. We all work together to provide the best care for each animal and to treat each pet as if it were our own.

We are a small veterinary practice in Siler City, North Carolina with an adoption component to our practice. While we primarily adopt our animals out to loving homes in North Carolina we have adopted out to other states as well. However, we will not "ship" animals out of state.
Additional adoption info
The adoption fee for most dogs is $150 and the adoption fee for most cats is $100. However, we sometimes have higher fees if we have information that a dog or cat is purebred. While we are happy to have you come and visit our adoptable animals at any time we would encourage you to fill our an application before you make the trip and to also check us about the best time to come to our facility. You can access our adoption application at our website, www.tysorvet.net. Go to the adoption tab and you will see the adoption application. We will check your previous and/or current vet reference as well as a personal reference. If you are approved and adopt an animal from us you will be asked to sign an adoption contract. If you adopt out an animal that is too young to be spayed/neutered we may require that you pay a deposit that will be refunded at the time of surgery.
