Lucky Mutts Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer, foster based organization that is dedicated to rescuing, fostering and finding forever homes for dogs in Wisconsin and surrounding areas. We also work with public shelters in portions of the Southern United States due to the high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation; dogs given up by their owners because of difficult times; and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We at Lucky Mutts Rescue adhere to a comprehensive adoption process that includes careful consideration and research to find the right matches and educate prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and families. All animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all necessary vaccinations and medical treatment, and are placed in loving foster homes until the right match is found and they are placed permanently in their forever homes.
Lucky Mutts Rescue is a tax exempt organization under the Internal Revenue Code section 501(c) 3. Any contributions of property or cash are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. Any single donation in excess of $250 or any donations in aggregate exceeding $250 for the calendar year will be provided with a written acknowledgement for tax deduction purposes.
