Porterville Animal Shelter was established in 2009 providing Animal Control Services to the City of Porterville. We are a team of 1 Animal Control Supervisor, 2 Field Officers, 1 Shelter Officer and 2 part-time employees. We welcome donations for the benefit of the animals (money, food, cleaning supplies, blankets, dog bowls and travel carriers).

The City of Porterville has a population of 60,000 people in which we provide Animal Control enforcement 7 days a week. Our shelter is open to the public 6 days a week. We also provide sheltering services for the City of Lindsay and City of Woodlake.

Visit our shelter to adopt: 23611 Rd. 196 Lindsay CA 93247 Monday through Friday 12pm to 5pm and Saturdays 9am to 5pm. The adoption process requires a contract to be signed and animal to be surgically altered prior to release. Our adoption fee is $70.00 which we require a $10.00 licensing fee for City of Porterville.
