Paws Aboard rescue transport is a volunteer non-profit organization that rescues shelter pets in Southeastern, KY. The purpose of the organization is to rescue animals which have been abandoned, lost, or abused. It is the policy of the corporation to promote the humane treatment of animals. It is also the policy of the corporation to provide humane care and treatment for all animals needing protection, to seek and to return lost animals to their owners, and to seek suitable homes for animals without owners.

We serve Floyd, Pike, Perry, Letcher, Breathitt, Leslie, and Knott County. We also work with several other shelters in Southeastern, KY.

Adopters must fill out an adoption application. These will be approved by Paws Aboard Board Members. For an application please email: kara.feltner@gmail.com
Each pet will be fully vetted. This includes: DAPPV vaccines, Rabies vaccines, dewormer, heartworm preventative, heartworm test, flea control, and spay/neuter.
Adoption fee will be $200-$300--depending on the treatment the pet has received and specific medical cases.
