New Life Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 non profit small animal rescue group. New Life Rescue, Inc.'s Directors were all originally considered Individual Rescuer's with a passion to help with the homeless animal crisis in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas. We decided to join together and use our knowledge and experience to make a difference.
New Life Rescue, Inc.focuses on rescuing dogs and cats from the streets that have been dumped or abandoned. We have rescued a few from shelters that have tugged at our heart strings. All dogs and cats that we rescue are taken to our Vet Clinic for a health check, vaccinations, heart worm tests, micro chipped, spayed and neutered. Some of the rescues require treatment for mange and heart worms.
New Life Rescue, Inc. also assists low income pet owners in getting their pets up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and neutered. We also offer dog houses to those who have outdoor pets. Dog and Cat food donations are shared with low income pet owners when available. We believe it is important to help these families be able to keep their pets who otherwise feel that they would have no choice but to surrender them to a shelter.

Additional adoption info
New Life Rescue, Inc. offers dogs and cats for adoption. We offer a Foster to Adopt option. We have been successful with the Foster to Adopt option as it insures the pet is a good fit for the individual or family's life style. Food and any medications are provided for the foster period which is generally 5 - 7 days. If the pet is a good fit, then the adoption process is completed. If the pet is not a good fit, it is picked up and put back up for adoption.
All dogs and cats for adoption thru New Life Rescue, Inc. are spayed, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for heart worms and micro chipped. The only exception is for puppies and kittens under 6 months old. Arrangements are made with the adopters on puppies and kittens for the vetting that is needed yet. Part of the adoption fee goes toward the final vetting on puppies and kittens.Adoption fees for dogs and cats 6 months or older is $150.00 - $200.00.. Adoption fee for puppies and kittens less than 6 months old is $200.00 with $100.00 given to the Vet Clinic of their choice with proof of appointment for spay or neuter and final vaccination verification.
