Southern Girls Pound Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non- profit. We are Emily Morris and Amy Pitts, two ladies who rescue the dogs we can from our local high kill shelter, get them vet checked, healthy, and adopted to loving, safe homes. Beautiful, friendly, adoptable dogs and puppies are killed every week, and we try to save what we can hoping to make a small difference.

Each dogs adoption fee will be posted in its individual bio.
Fees vary depending on age, size, breed, vet care provided, shelter pull fees, and any other factors associated with the cost of saving that dog.
We require an adoption application and contract.
A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE and 2 personal references are required on the application.
There is no fee to complete an application.
Adoption fees are non-refundable.
