The Martin County Humane Society Animal Shelter is no-kill and operates on donations and volunteers. We serve Martin County, Indiana, which includes the towns of Crane and Shoals and the city of Loogootee.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees: Dogs six months and older and over 25 lbs $100, Puppies under six months and dogs under 25 lbs $150. Puppies not old enough to be fixed require a $75 deposit on top of the adoption fee that will be returned to the adopter once the puppy is spay/neutered.
Kittens/Cats already fixed are $45
Kittens not yet fixed $75 which includes cost of spay/neuter at one of our vets (Loogootee, Bloomington or Indianapolis) when they are big enough.
We do same-day adoptions.
Adopters must be 21 years of age or older, have consent of everyone in their household, and landlord permission if a renter.
