The Holt County Animal Shelter is a private, non-profit organization. We do not receive any monetary support from the government or national animal welfare organizations such as the Humane Society of the United States. We are funded entirely by private donations.
Our board members, workers and volunteers are all dedicated to taking in these lost and abandoned dogs because we are all animal lovers and want to do our best to find the loving homes they deserve.
