The mission of Akita Rescue of Northwestern Pennsylvania is first and foremost to keep the Akita with the owner. If that is not possible, then placement with the rescue, if availability of the rescue will take place. This is a new rescue as the need to save Akitas from euthanasia has increased over the years.
Akita Rescue of Northwestern Pennsylvania is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit approved tax deductible rescue.
