Mirta Maltes is the founder and an Everglades Park Ranger. In the course of her daily duties she discovered an alarming number of animals dumped in the fields and left to suffer. It has become her personal mission to raise awareness about this situation and end the suffering of these innocent animals by getting medical attention and attempting to adopt them into loving homes.
