Pet Rescue of Mercer is an all volunteer, not-for-profit animal 501 (c)(3) rescue group based in Mercer County, NJ. PRM rescues neglected, abused, and abandoned animals from local shelters by finding quality homes for them.
Pet Rescue of Mercer was founded by Jenny Swingle of Hamilton Township in 1997. We are a grass roots organization, built on a foundation of community compassion. PRM was created when two people shared their concern over the plight of stray and abandonded animals at a random meeting in an animal shelter parking lot. From that day, we have grown one person, one phone call, one meeting, one dollar at a time.
