AMAR is a nationwide organization affiliated with the American Maltese Association. This is the Midwest Location serving the middle of the USA.

Additional adoption info

We require and adoption application to be filled out at http://www.americanmalteserescue.org/application.html. Once you are approved to adopt a dog you are required to sign an adoption contract.

We do check your vet, groomer and personal references, and also do a home evaluation before adopting a dog.

Our adoption fees vary depending on the age and health of the dog.
