Family Addition Dog Rescue of Charlotte

Dog rescue in Charlotte, NC

Family Addition Dog Rescue of Charlotte is a small group of like-minded individuals who dedicate their homes and their hearts to providing refuge to the many abandoned, abused and neglected dogs of our community. We believe a dog is a member of the family and we require 100% committed owners for our adoptions. Each dog is fully vetted, altered, fed high quality nutrition and started on monthly heartworm preventative. A foster home is provided to fully assess the behavior and placement needs of each individual dog. Permanent homes are carefully screened to ensure the dog is matched correctly. Public awareness of our overpopulation problem is another focus of Family Addition. At our all of our adoption events we ensure each citizen is educated on the plight of homeless animals in our area and the proper care of any companion animal. With re-homing shelter dogs and educating the public we strive to make a difference in our community.
