Fairchild's mission is to improve the lives of feral and stray cats in Berks county through TNVR (Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return) as well as helping to reduce the homeless cat population. We also wish to educate the community that TNVR is the most humane way to deal with the over-population crisis and it is the most cost-efficient. Through TNVR we can reduce the number of unwanted homeless cats in our shelters and end the cycle of trap and kill. During a TNVR project we sometimes find friendly cats that have been abandoned by their owners; most have wonderful personalities and are ideal adoption candidates!
Fairchild Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, entirely supported by private donations and grants. We do not receive support from state, federal, or local government. No donation is considered too small. We appreciate every contribution. Your donations are tax deductible.

Additional adoption info
We are not a shelter - all of our animals are fostered by individual volunteers. An adoption application is required https://goo.gl/forms/oJHc7Qo28YVBunau2 and references will be checked which includes personal and vet references (if applicable). Adoption fees are dependent upon the age, type and breed of animal. Generally Kittens are $50 and Adults are $35. All of our volunteers work full-time jobs so it may take several days for us to respond to inquiries - your patience is appreciated!
