The City of St. Louis Animal Care and Control (ACC) is housed in the Department of Health. We provide rabies registration and licensing services and are responsible for the enforcement of pet-related city ordinances in the city of St. Louis. Additionally, we provide outreach and education services regarding pet safety and responsible pet ownership.

You are welcome to visit our shelter at 2801 Clark Ave., St. Louis, MO 63103 between the hours of 10am-5pm, seven days a week, to meet our adoptable animals. If possible, we ask that you call ahead so we can make sure staff are available to provide you the best customer service.
