Pet Project Rescue (PPR) is a local, non-profit organization that rescues homeless or abandoned dogs and cats and places them in volunteer foster homes until the animal is adopted by a forever family. In addition to animal rescue, PPR is focused on reducing the homeless-animal population at its source and dedicates funds and volunteer efforts to provide spay/neuter services for animals of those in need in our community. PPR believes that all animals deserve a loving and healthy life. In order to fully provide for animals in need, PPR is run almost entirely by volunteers who dedicate time and energy to help animals in our community and beyond.
*Pet Project Rescue has been a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit since 2008.

If you are interested in adopting a Pet Project Rescue animal, you must live within 60 miles of the Twin Cities Metro area. This is because we require a home visit, and also like to be available to our adoptive homes for follow-ups. Due to being a volunteer rescue, we are not always able to make long distance drives outside of the Metro area. This is a general rule, and we can make exceptions on rare occasions.
