Dog rescue in Fountain Hills, AZ

We are Rescue Pals.
We started in 2008 by walking the rescue dogs boarded at Pal's Inn Pet Resort in Fountain Hills and we gradually started to help in finding homes for the rescued dogs. Walking and socializing them helps the dogs - it gets rid of some pent-up energy, they get outside and sniff and interact with the volunteer-walker, walk with other dogs. It gives us the chance to see how the dog is, how it interacts with other dogs and how its walk behavior is and to try to teach them some obedience and leash manners.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee is for puppies is $250 and for dogs 1 yr and older $150.
We require potential adopters to fill in an adoption application. We require a meet & greet if the potential adopter already has a dog or dogs to see if the get along. If the potential adopter has cats we first see how the dog reacts to a cat (if we don't know already) and then we would take the dog with us during the home check to see how the dog reacts to the cat(s).
We also do a home check to see if it is a safe home and back yard for the dog.
