St Francis of Assisi Pet Food Bank of Georgia has been created to be a link between Humane Societies, non profit rescue
groups and animal foster homes with the purpose of working toward a common interest: the assistance to homeless
animals and the need of educating our community of the benefits of spay and neuter.
We work together and network pets in different rescues in our area, so, everyone gets a chance to be seen, and
as every animal is different, with more exposure, their chances of adoption increase, as our potential adopters have
a wider array of pets to look for their forever friend.
All pets adopted out by us are already spayed or nutered, or will be, just before going to their forever home. Vaccines
are always up to date, and a health certificate will be issued to any pet that goes on transport to any other state.
Most pets in our network were strays or dumps. Found on the side of the road, neglected, taken to shelters or owner surrender.
All the pets in our network have been socialized with other animals and people. Pets stay in foster homes for that purpose
and are rotated so they get used to different environments.
We hope you will find your forever friend here!
