Our mission is to provide care to those equine's that have been abused, neglected and abandoned. Our goal is once all medical and emotional needs are met, we then begin the process of finding their new forever human. 2012 our ending number was 54 horses that came through our facility and were successfully adopted and in their forever homes. There is a huge need for equine rescues, due to the economy and lack of knowledge of some horse owners there is a increase of starvation and neglect cases.
This rescue doesn’t have any adoptable pets right now – check out adoptable pets nearby or start a custom pet search below.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization verified with Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS). We service Sumter, Citrus, Hillsborough and Polk County Forida.
Additional adoption info
There is a adoption application required to be filled out by any prospective adopter. We also request the adopter come out and visit/handle the potential horse a minimum of 4 visits. A home visit will be performed prior to adoption being completed. Our adoption fees vary and all horses go on contract.
