Miami Pet Assistance Coalition (MPAC) consists of a group of animal lovers who live near the Little Haiti neighborhood of Miami, FL, where lots of roaming, neglected stray dogs and cats risk being hit by cars or picked up by Animal Control and placed in the county's very "high kill" shelter. When resources permit, MPAC gets these animals off the streets, provides them vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter), and places them in foster homes until we can find an adopter. Since we do not have our own shelter facility, we also facilitate getting these animals to legitimate no-kill rescue organizations.
We are 501c3 nonprofit. EIN 46-2585329
As part of a community outreach plan to teach the importance of proper animal care, MPAC often subsidizes the cost of spay/neuter and vaccinations (when it is not free), provides food, and drives pets to and from vet appointments, as the owners often lack transportation.

We operate in the general northeast Miami, FL area. We do not have our own facility, so we depend on fosters. We also facilitate getting dogs and cats off the streets and into the custody of legitimate rescue organizations who are able to take in and care for them.
We adopt out pets within the State of Florida, but will consider out-of-state adoptions on a case-by-case basis.
