Paws for the Cause focus is primarily on TNR (trap, neuter, return) of feral cats, in an effort to reduce the amount of homeless animals, as well as rescue and adoption of domestic cats/kittens. We are also a registered food bank with Petco, helping those with financial instability to keep their pets, thus reducing the number of animals relinquished to shelters. We do take in domestic cats for adoption but we do NOT adopt out feral cats. All the cats adopted through Paws for the Cause are completely domesticated animals. However, we do place our feral cats in barn environments when they become available.
