We are a small, Christian based rescue in rural West Tennessee. We believe it is our responsibility to be good stewards of our environment and by doing so, help the needy animals in our area. Unfortunately, the south tends to have an "it's just an animal" kind of attitude most of the time and this means that MANY wonderful companion animals find themselves the victims of neglect, abuse, and abandonment. We strive to rescue and rehome as many of these animals as we can. We maintain approximately 20-25 dogs in our program at any given time (the ones posted here are the ones that are ready to be adopted) and our goal is quality over quantity. We are not saving the MOST dogs of any other rescue but we believe the quality of the pets our adopters are receiving speaks for itself.
We have a "no-kill" policy and only euthanize a dog in our program if there is NO other option available to us (cases of extreme human or other dog aggression or illness/injury that is untreatable and is causing the dog severe pain). We do NOT euthanize an animal for reason of treatable illnesses such as heartworms, mange, etc.
We look forward to many more "saves" in the weeks, months, and years to come and enjoy every chance we get to make a difference. We also consider it our responsibility to educate our community on proper companion animal care, responsible pet ownership, and the positive ramifications of spaying and neutering pets. We have a no-cost weekend summer camp in the works for local children of low income families and look forward to our regularly scheduled talks with our local 4H Club chapters, our service projects with the Boy Scouts, and our other community events.

We are based in west Tennessee and strive to provide our rescues and fosters a better life by adopting them out into the northern states because they seem to have a better grasp of proper animal care and what loving a companion animal actually means. Our adoption transport has stops all along their route up the eastern seaboard, so if you're interested in one of our guys or gals and decide they're "the one", we can make it happen!
Additional adoption info
We require a completed adoption application, which includes personal references (and a home check if adoption is local) and a signed, legally binding adoption contract which lays out the agreement between us and the adopter on how the animal shall be cared for, provided for, and trained. Our adoption fee is $375. For puppies this covers all vaccinations needed up until their current age (at least 2), spay or neuter, and de-worming. For adults this includes all vaccinations (including rabies), spay or neuter, heartworm, lyme, and ehrlichiosis test (and treatment for any positive test results), temperament evaluation, and grooming before delivery, plus current health certificate, and transport to adopter. If there is a dog in our program that interests you, contact us via email and an adoption application will be sent to you within 48 hours. Upon completion and return of this application, you will hear back from us within 3 business days.
