The Humane Society of Louisiana-Baton Rouge chapter was founded in Spring of 2012 and is dedicated to serving and protecting all animals through advocacy, humane education and intervention. Through our food assistance program, foster network, education and animal care programs, we promote compassion for all animals. We are always in need of fosters and volunteers!

Additional adoption info
We require a completed adoption application be mailed in for review. If review of application is acceptable, a home visit may be required. If home visit is found to be acceptable, we will require a $100 adoption fee and completed adoption contract.
