Animal Friends Shelter is a community organization dedicated to providing care and temporary refuge for unwanted, homeless, and abused animals in and around Austin County. We are a no kill, 501(c)(3) non-profit shelter. We strive to promote responsible animal ownership through community service and education.
We are volunteers and receive no funding from city, county, state, or federal agencies.

ALSO Included:
People in the Bellville-Sealy-Columbus area receive 6 weeks of free obedience training with each dog adopted. This helps the new owner bond with the new pet and creates a “forever home. The training studio is in Bellville and is given by a certified dog trainer.
