A small group of volunteers started rescuing and rehabilitating bully breeds and rotties from the high kill city shelters in nyc in May 2007, until DakodaLove was funded in March 2009; we are a non-profit 501[c]3 so all your donations are tax deductable to the full extent of the law; we dedicate our efforts to the plight of abandoned animals, rescuing and finding great Loving & Responsible 4ever homes for animals on death-row, with special focus on the abused bully mix breeds & rottie mixes. we aim to find innovative ways through the ARTS to educate the public on the sad plight of pet overpopulation and animal abuse: make art. save a life. together we can act and end it.

Or adoption / foster process includes filling out our application, checking your references, doing a phone interview and getting to know you, and doing a home visit; our adoption donation is $200 to $250 and it is tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
