Our rescue was started to honor a foster dog, Casey, who came into my care with a Mrsa infection of his ear. His care was very expensive and dangerous to us as well. Sadly Casey has crossed Rainbow Bridge, but his gentle sweet soul touched us so much, we wanted to help other needy dogs who just need an opportunity. A common herding dog command is That'll Do and is meant to stop all motion and await redirection. Thus our rescue name - That'll Do Again . . . for a new life direction. We take joy in seeing our dogs new lives. Several are now FlyBall champs. We vend at dog events like Breed shows, Agility and Flyball events to share our mission, plus we have some awsome dog quilts, bags, and dog beds to sell that helps support the rescue. Sewers and Quilters. . . please join our efforts. We host workshops such as Animal Communication with Patty Summers who talks to our animals. Flyball and Agility workshops are in the works. Sometimes we just have a picnic so all the dogs can run and play in the field together while we humans watch with delight. We have volunteer trainers and behaviorist who help with training and education. We rescue dogs, but in the process they rescue us and bring together a great family of dog lovers. Why do we do it. . . for the pure joy of seeing the difference it makes in so many lives.

Our adoptions are primarily in North and South Carolina. We have done adoptions out of state, but only if all the steps in our adoption process can be completed. We do not ship or transport dogs out of state. We must have a face-to-face contact with all adopters.
Additional adoption info
Our adoption process begins with an application and followed by a visit to our farm to meet the dogs. If all goes well and a dog is chosen, a home visit will be done. The purpose of the home visit is to be sure the dog has met all family members including other pets, and it appears all are comfortable with each other. A two week trial adoption is started but the adoption is not complete until all parties agree that the dog and family are doing well together. The adoption fee is $275. All dogs are spay/neutered prior to adoption. If the dog is a pup, the spay/neuter will be delayed until the appropriate age, but proof of spay/neuter is required to prevent return of the animal to rescue.
