St. Louis Samoyed Rescue has been rescuing pure bred Samoyeds for over 30 years here in Missouri and several of the surrounding states. We have a Board of Directors that meet on a monthly basis. We also publish a quarterly newsletter. We have our own website and Facebook page. Both are updated on a regular basis. We normally rescue between 8 and 12 Sammies yearly and have a very thorough adoption process consisting of a detailed application, a visit to the applicant's home to make sure that there will be a good match and a visit between the applicant and the Sam in question. After the adoption is final, we keep a close contact with the family and try to involve them in our activities.
