Feline Underground Rescue was created in order to fill a need in the Inland Empire community that exists because too many unwanted or abandoned cats and kittens are being needlessly euthanized in shelters. We have started this new nonprofit animal rescue group so that we can rescue many of these cats and kittens either directly from the shelters or before they are turned in to a shelter in order to save their lives, provide them the necessary medical care and prepare them for adoption.
Our adoptable cats and kittens will go to their FURever homes having been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia, and treated for fleas and worms while being lovingly cared for in a network of foster homes and adoption centers run by volunteers. Potential adopters will be carefully screened via an application process which our Board of Directors will design with certain parameters to adhere to.
Our network of foster families specializes in nursing back to health the sick or underage kitties that often do not get the opportunity to be adopted in shelter situations. Volunteers of all ages and stages of life will be welcomed and trained in the areas they can comfortably provide their services to our organization in order to serve the community.

Additional adoption info
We require an application to be filled out and approved prior to selecting an adopter for the animal. Once approved, the applicant is matched to an appropriate pet for their lifestyle and an adoption agreement is completed. We do have adoption fees associated with the adoption of most of our animals to cover medical and supply costs.
