Dog rescue in Jasper, AL

Pawprints on My Heart Animal Rescue, Inc. is a pending 501c3 non-profit organization located in Jasper, AL. This rescue will serve the community of Walker County, AL and surrounding areas. Pawprints on My Heart promote pet adoption, spay/neutering, proper vet care and HW prevention. We are fighting to help end the euthanization of animals in our county by pulling from the local animal shelter and taking in homeless animals off the street. We are in need of donations and most importantly FOSTER HOMES to take in the animals until they are officially adopted. The adoption process consists of an adoption application, vet references, and a home visit. Fenced in yards are wanted but not required for some animals! If interested in helping get this rescue off to a great start please email pawprintsonmyheartanimalrescue@yahoo.com

Additional adoption info

Thanks for considering adopting a pet instead of buying one! All of our animals are spayed/neutered prior to adoption as well as updated on all vaccines and put on HW and flea/tick preventative. After adoption, the adopter will be responsible for keeping shots UTD as well as following the routine of HW and flea/tick prevention. In order to be approved for adoption adopters must be at least 18 years old and all of your current pets have to be UTD on shots, spay/neutered, on prevention, and be kept indoors. If interested in any of our adoptable animals please fill out our adoption application. If application is approved the next step is a home visit. If that goes well then the adoption will be final! Our adoption fees range from $150-$200 based on the amount of vet care the animal has received. These prices are not negotiable due to the fact that we are still losing money after charging the adoption fee. The money from these fees go towards vet care for other dogs that we take in. The adoption application can be found at the bottom of this page.
