MRT is a foster based rescue in Louisville, KY. We are a wonderful team of dedicated people that truly love animals and know that rescue dogs are simply the best! We work non-stop to save dogs from being euthanized in high kill shelters. We also bring awareness to our community about spay/neuter and proper vetting.

MRT helps shelter dogs find their perfect "fit in" family!

MRT loves our foster parents. It is because of them that we are able to continue with rescuing. We are thankful to to all of you that open your hearts and home to our rescues. We are always in need of foster homes. If you would like to foster short-term or long-term, please contact MRT at misfitrescueteam@gmail.com

We are teaching the next generation to live inside compassion.

MRT is ran by a vegan family. We care about all living animals big and small, and do our part each day to ensure we are not contributing to the harm of any animals. <3
