Pit Happens Rescue

Dog rescue in Chattanooga, TN

We are not your average rescue. The dogs that are surrendered to us are not kept in runs, kennels, or cages. All dogs are with one of our loving fosters, kept as indoor family members with outdoor, supervised playtime. Many of the dogs that are surrendered to us were kept in cages, runs, tie outs, chains, etc...a neglected dog will most always end up with a rescue or euthanized. Without proper... socialization, vetting, lack of human interaction and due to back yard breeding, our best friends are dying by the thousands in shelters, but were changing that through education.
