I have worked at an animal clinic for 16 years & have been a wildlife rehabber for the last 10+ of those years. I have rescued many dogs, cats, squirrels, raccoons, birds, and a horse over the years, but in the past couple of years, I have focused mainly on small dog rescue. I have driven to Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Georgia to rescue small dogs from high kill shelters, some just hours before being euthanized. I foster most of them myself in my own home and pay for their adoption fees and medical expenses out of my own pocket. I hope to continue to rescue, and as long as the ones I rescue find good homes, then I can do just that.

Additional adoption info
Adoption applications can be faxed or filled out in person when meeting our sweet dogs, and sometimes cats, for adoption. There is an adoption fee which covers vaccinations and spaying/neutering, as well as any other medical issues, such as heartworm treatment and orthopedic surgery. (Dogs adoption fee = $110 / Cats adoption fee = $50) Pets will come with sample of Science Diet puppy or kitten food, as well as first month of heartworm prevention. Potential new families must agree to return pet at any time if it doesn't work out. A home visit and/or vet reference will be required.
