COHS, Inc., is a public charity dedicated to the welfare of animals. It has been established: 1) to provide sanctuary to homeless, abandoned, abused, special needs, or retired animals that have no other options, as can be safely supported by facility and resources; 2) to provide refuge, rehabilitation and return to habitat of injured wildlife; 3) to collaborate with community rescue organizations in the interest of public health, to maximize successful placement of shelter animals and reduce the number of stray or ill animals at large; 4) to create an environment conducive for education of the public regarding appropriate care of pets and appreciation for the needs of animals in general.

Verbal interview. Contract and a home visit. Must provide rental pet policy if a renter. Meet and Greets with any other animal and human living in the home.
