Recycle-A-Bull Bully Breed Rescue

Dog rescue in Clay, NY

We are a group of pit bull owners who understand that there are a lot of misconceptions when it comes to this bully breed, and therefore many times these wonderful dogs get overlooked and misunderstood.

We also know that the pit bull is one of the most over bred breeds in America. Due to irresponsible owners and misconceptions, many will end up in shelters or homeless, or worse... dead. Its these two factors that have cause many states to adopt BSL.

Our group is here to prove that this is a loyal, loving, comical breed. They are not born aggressive, they are made aggressive. We are committed to helping as many abused, neglected and abandoned bullys as we possibly can, and to prove that once you go bully you never go back!

Rescue FAQs

We are a foster based rescue located in upstate New York. We are dedicated to educating the public about responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, and to help the public understand the misconceptions of the bully breed.

Additional adoption info

All of our dogs have been examined by our vet and given the appropriate vaccinations. In most cases they have been spayed or neutered. In the event that they are not spayed or neutered, it may be they are too young. We require a spay/neuter deposit that is refunded upon proof of the spay or neuter. (It is mandatory that it is done no later than 14 days after the dog turns 6 months.)
All dogs require an application (completed) as well as reference checks and a home check.
Our adoption fees help offset what we put into each individual dog, therefore every adoption fee may not be the same.
